Stretch film is the effective way to protect palletised goods...

  • Stretch film protects contents from weather and dust in transport and storage
  • It stabilises cartons and ensures pallet loads are kept together
  • It is tear resistant and holds pallet load up to 1000kg without slipping
  • All of our hand stretch film dimensions (thickness, width and length) are guaranteed so you always get what you pay for!
Blown Film
This is the standard film used in the UK and is ideal for stabilising irregular shaped loads.
It is tacky on both sides and also tear and puncture resistant for maximum efficiency in securing pallets.
Recommended for general use and in deep freeze storage.

Pre-Stretched Film
This is an easy to use film which can save you time and money.
As it is pre-stretched the width doesn’t decrease when you apply it so it is quicker and requires less effort to use. Once applied, this film will remain tight around your products and will produce half the normal waste when removed

Cast Film
A strong clear film that sticks only to itself so it is quieter than other films.
It prevents products on pallets from moving while in transit.
Cast film is particularly popular in the food industry.

Coloured Film
Coloured films are ideal for identifying pallet contents and providing additional security.
Only two wraps guarantee an opaque cover that ensures the contents cannot be seen.
Available in 5 colours: black (blown film), white, blue red and green (cast film)

Which thickness?
The recommended thickness, measured in micron, depends on the weight of the load as follows:
Up to 300kg: 14 micron
300 - 500kg: 17 micron
500 - 700kg: 20 micron
600 - 800kg: 23 micron
Up to 1000kg: 35 micron
Using Stretch Film
Standard stretch film comes on a cardboard core which can be applied by hand.
However, we recommend using a dispenser for larger applications. We offer a choice of Standard applicator or Heavy duty applicator depending on your usage. Alternatively, you could opt for our Extended core films which have extra long smooth plastic cores that act as handles to make application easier.
More options
Mini Rolls
For securing and bundling small and awkward packages we recommend our Mini Rolls Kit.
Extra wide cast stretch film
For faster wrapping and reduced risk of back injuries, this film ensures a stable wrap in only two passes.
