Ergonomically designed and simple to operate Pro-seal desk top heat sealers are impulse sealers, which means heat is applied via the Teflon protected element for only a few seconds; the red light changes to green to indicate the seal has been completed. These heat sealers have adjustable sealing times for different types of film.
They are suitable for polythene, PVC and polypropylene films and bags and are ideal for closing and producing bags to the size you need and can be used for 100 - 400 times on average in an eight hour shift.
The main body of the heat sealer is produced from a 1 piece aluminium extrusion for ultimate strength and includes a safety trimming cutter and tensioned element for a consistent 2.5mm seal. The sealer operates on an electromagnet switch rather than a mechanical switch for increased reliability.
The Pro-seal desk top impulse heat sealer can seal polythene from 20 micron (total 40 micron for two layers) up to 200 micron (total 400 for two layers). PP from 20 micron (40 total) up to 80 micron (160 total) PVC from 20 micron (40 total) up to 30 micron (60 total). These impulse heat sealers are ideal for small to medium volume use and are suitable for short production runs, for continuous use we recommend the Opti-seal heat sealer.
