What is the difference between tissue paper and acid free tissue paper?

Customers value tissue paper and often reuse it after unwrapping their gifts or products. Businesses sometimes use it to store or display stock too. But tissue paper can become acidic and brittle over time and damage the items it’s being used to protect. Non-acid free tissue paper is great for short term packaging, but if you’re going to use tissue paper to store products for a longer time, then acid free tissue paper is the way to go.

Acid free tissue paper is processed without the components that make the standard tissue paper acidic. That’s why, if you’re looking to store delicate items like antiques or fabrics, acid free tissue paper is a better choice.

Is tissue paper recyclable?
