It\u2019s a tougher crowd and a much broader field of entries. We were nominated for three different awards, Woman of the Year, Supply Chain Solution of the Year and Corrugated: Online Retail and Consumer Goods, with our most confident entry being our Climapack kit in the Supply Chain Solution category, attempting to secure another award win. Let\u2019s see how we did.<\/p>\n<h2>What are the UK Packaging Awards?<\/h2>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5362\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rajapack.co.uk\/blog-uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/BLOG2.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"564\" height=\"320\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.rajapack.co.uk\/blog-uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/BLOG2.png 564w, https:\/\/www.rajapack.co.uk\/blog-uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/BLOG2-430x244.png 430w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 564px) 100vw, 564px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The UK Packaging Awards are a prestigious annual event that celebrates excellence in the packaging industry, recognising innovation, design, sustainability and quality across various sectors. The 2024 edition of the awards brought together top professionals, manufacturers, designers, and companies from across the packaging supply chain.<\/p>\n<p>Categories include Packaging Company of the Year, Supply Chain Solution of the Year, and Best New Concept Awards, among others. The awards highlight the cutting-edge advancements in packaging technology and materials, offering a platform for businesses to showcase their achievements while promoting environmentally conscious practices in response to growing global sustainability demands.<\/p>\n<p>We entered our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rajapack.co.uk\/protective-packaging\/chilled-packaging\/climapack-insulated-paper-chilled-packaging-solution_OFF_UK_01047.html\">Climapack kit<\/a> for the Supply Chain Solution of the year as an additional attempt to demonstrate the high quality and impressive sustainability offered by the kit.<\/p>\n<h2>How did we do?<\/h2>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5363\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rajapack.co.uk\/blog-uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/BLOG3.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"602\" height=\"599\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.rajapack.co.uk\/blog-uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/BLOG3.png 602w, https:\/\/www.rajapack.co.uk\/blog-uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/BLOG3-430x428.png 430w, https:\/\/www.rajapack.co.uk\/blog-uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/BLOG3-150x150.png 150w, https:\/\/www.rajapack.co.uk\/blog-uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/BLOG3-120x120.png 120w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 602px) 100vw, 602px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Climapack continues to be a big hit with the judges and our customers! We walked away with the Supply Chain Solution of the year which brings us up to three awards won this year for our cold chain range. It\u2019s another major feather in our cap and demonstrates the quality of work we\u2019ve been putting in consistently to improve and enhance our product offering. Here&#8217;s what the judges had to say about our Climapack:<\/p>\n<p><span data-teams=\"true\"><span class=\"ui-provider a b c d e f g h i j k l m n o p q r s t u v w x y z ab ac ae af ag ah ai aj ak\" dir=\"ltr\"><i>\u201cNot only does it demonstrate a benefit in pack performance, the entry shows a cut from 188 pallets down to 45 in a comparison with EPS. It is a great solution for home delivery chilled foods and that fact that it is all paper and recyclable is a first. It is light weight, looks great and can imagine is easy to dispose of once decanted products. Bravo!\u201d<\/i><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Sadly, we didn\u2019t win in the additional categories we were shortlisted for, but the one we were most keen on going after was a success.<\/p>\n<h2>Award winning Cold Chain Packaging<\/h2>\n<p>With this third award win, we can confidently state that our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rajapack.co.uk\/cold-chain-solutions_cms_000123.html\">Cold Chain solutions<\/a> are truly award-winning with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rajapack.co.uk\/protective-packaging\/chilled-packaging\/ranpak-recycold-climaliner-insulated-thermal-box-liner_OFF_UK_00927.html\">Climaliner<\/a> and the Climapack being praised by the judges for the quality of products and how well they protect cold goods in transit.
