These Fort® Spring Mobile Steps are the tallest weight reactive step available, including an 8-tread option with 2m platform height. The ideal solution for working safely when at height, they smoothly navigate across the floor thanks to the 2-spring loaded 75mm swivel castors and 2 x 150mm rubber tyred wheels.
When body weight is applied, the castors retract leaving the steps firm and safe on rubber feet. Fort® Spring Mobile Steps are suitable for warehouses where product picking is a priority and are available in several different tread depths.
With lift handles fitted on, the product is easy and safe to manoeuvre. Choose from phenolic non-slip tread or steel mesh tread which is more suitable for outdoor or working spaces which are typically wet.
Fort® Spring Mobile Steps combine the flexibility and manoeuvrability of weight-reactive sprung castors with the added height of a traditional warehouse step. With a generous load capacity of 150kg, all Fort® Spring Mobile Steps models are certified to BS EN 131 standards.
Some models include steps with a phenolic non-slip tread for added grip when ascending and descending. These models are better suited to dry space working areas and warehouses, as they offer stable footing when in use:

Alternatively, if your working space is outdoors or typically wet, the expanded steel mesh tread models may be more suitable. The open mesh treads allow water to drain through, rather than collect on the surface, which means you can use the steps safely in all weather conditions:
