Looking back on a transformative 2025

5 min read 02 January 2026

As a packaging partner for thousands of UK businesses, 2025 has been one of our busiest and most impactful years yet. From operational achievements to product innovation, sales growth, technology improvements and sustainability progress. Take a look at our video featuring our Managing Director, Tom Rodda, and department heads to hear how we have been working to support your business.

Operations: Performance, supporting businesses

Throughout 2025, our operations teams delivered exceptional performance to keep customers’ supply chains moving. Over the course of the year, more than 500,000 order lines were processed and 100,000 bulk pallets dispatched, all while maintaining a 99.92% pick accuracy. Line fill remained consistently above 99% across more than 5,200 stocked items, reflecting the scale, precision and reliability of our fulfilment operation. These results help ensure the products you need arrive accurately and on time, even during peak periods.

Fun Fact: If you stacked all those bulk pallet loads together you would reach space! (1.8m x 100,000).

Product: Innovation with quality, choice and sustainability

2025 was a landmark year for product development at RAJAPACK UK. Our Product team onboarded new, carefully vetted suppliers and introduced a range of improvements across our portfolio. Exclusive solutions such as the iFoodbag chilled mailer were launched, our crash-lock box range was expanded, and our envelopes and mailers portfolio was fully refreshed in preparation for 2026.

These efforts were recognised with three Environmental Packaging Awards, reinforcing our commitment to developing packaging solutions that balance performance with environmental responsibility. You can find out more about our award wins here. (link to awards blog)

For customers, this means easier access to high-quality, reliable packaging, clearer sustainable options, and dedicated support when navigating EPR regulations. We also reached a significant supply chain milestone, with over 82% of our packaging being manufactured in the UK, and most of the remainder sourced from Europe. This strengthens resilience, reduces transport miles and supports local manufacturing.

In addition, we began our FSC certification journey, with full certification planned for 2026, further strengthening responsible sourcing across our range.

Sales: Growth through stronger customer partnerships

Our Sales team focused on building deeper, more effective partnerships throughout 2025. The customer-facing team expanded by 50%, enabling closer support for existing customers while also supporting continued growth in key sectors such as catering and cold chain.

Alongside this, investment in recruitment, training and the rollout of the Salesforce Core Model strengthened our ability to respond quickly, understand customer needs more clearly, and deliver more personalised support. This approach has helped us continue supporting core customers while also securing significant new business during the year.

Marketing: Finding the right product, made easier.

Throughout 2025, our Marketing team focused on making it easier for customers to find the right products and make informed choices. A full refresh of our Cardboard Boxes and Workplace Equipment product content improved clarity and search visibility, helping customers reach the products they need more quickly.

Targeted email campaigns also played an important role in keeping customers informed about new products, packaging innovations and relevant offers. If you are not already subscribed, our newsletter remains a simple way to stay up to date with the latest developments across our range.

IT: Improvements strengthening security and service

Our IT teams delivered a range of improvements that support every stage of the customer journey. The completion of our Salesforce implementation, alongside company-wide Windows 11 upgrades and device refreshes, has improved performance and security across the business.

In the warehouse, system enhancements such as a new Synel Time & Attendance platform have improved operational accuracy, while strengthened cybersecurity through Microsoft Defender and a successful ISO27001 audit with zero non-conformities provide customers with confidence that their data is protected to the highest standards.

People, Sustainability and Community Impact

We continued to invest in people, sustainability and the communities around us throughout the year. In 2025, we achieved EcoVadis Gold certification with a score of 79, placing us in the 96th percentile globally. We also supported local initiatives across Bedfordshire, including work experience placements, university partnerships and assisted internships.

Our Women & Environment Programme continued to make a meaningful impact, contributing over £60,000 in the past two years and reinforcing our commitment to long-term positive change.

Charity support

Our teams supported a wide range of charitable initiatives during 2025. RAJA Ramblers raised funds for Garden House Hospice, by completing the Three Peaks Challenge, and the RAJA Runners, took part in the Budapest Marathon. We also supported Macmillan, Save the Children and Movember through a series of fundraising events and activities.

Together, our colleagues raised more than £10,000 for charity during the year.

Looking ahead to 2026

As we move into 2026, our focus remains firmly on supporting customers. We will be enhancing our website to make product selection clearer and easier, working to reduce prices across key categories, continuing to improve product quality and packaging solutions, and further strengthening the service and support you can expect from us. There is a lot to look forward to and we are just getting started.

Thank You and Happy New Year From everyone at RAJAPACK UK, thank you for your continued partnership throughout 2025. We wish you a very Happy New Year, and we look forward to supporting your business in 2026 and beyond
