The 100% paper padded bag
Jiffy Green padded bags are a paper-based padded envelope for posting heavier items without moving up to a box. The 90 gsm brown Kraft outer of these eco jiffy bags are grease and puncture resistant, and the 100% recycled paper fibre lining expands with use to cushion knocks in transit. Four-fold construction with double fold corners, a double glued bottom flap and a reinforced side seam adds strength where mailing bags usually split first. A self-adhesive strip seals the flap without additional glue or tape on all sizes except reference PJA8. Available in ten sizes that run from 105 x 229mm to 442 x 661mm (opening width x internal height), encompassing multiple mail formats; large letter, small parcel, medium parcel and large parcel. These eco jiffy bags are made from recycled outer material and are 100% recyclable.
Supplied boxed in packs of 50, 100 or 200, priced per pack. Bulk discounts apply on orders of three or more packs.
Where do Jiffy Green padded bags work best?
Jiffy Green padded bags suit postal, e-commerce and fulfilment teams posting heavier items that need cushioning without the bulk of a box.
- Heavy-duty or awkward products, where the 90 gsm Kraft outer resists punctures and the expanding paper fibre lining protects corners and edges.
- Fast mail benches, where the self-adhesive strip seals in one motion with no additional glue or tape (except PJA8)
- Despatch areas cutting plastic, where the all-paper build and 100% recycled fibre lining keep the used envelope recyclable.
Not for
- Fragile glass, ceramics or other breakables that need a rigid outer. Use cardboard boxes with suitable void fill instead.
- Items that must stay visible on the parcel, such as enclosed paperwork. Use document enclosed wallets where the contents need reading without opening.
- Wet, oily or leaking products. The Kraft outer is grease resistant, but it's not a sealed plastic alternative for contents that may leak or seep.

FAQs
What is the difference between Jiffy Green padded bags and bubble-lined mailers?
Both cushion the contents, but Jiffy Green bags use expanding recycled paper fibre rather than a plastic bubble lining. They suit buyers who want an all-paper padded envelope that stays recyclable after use.
Do these Jiffy Green bags need tape to close?
All sizes have a self-adhesive strip that seals the flap without glue or tape, except reference PJA8. Close that one with packaging tape.
Are the eco jiffy bags recyclable?
Yes. They're made from recycled material, and the finished envelope is 100% recyclable.
What sizes do they come in?
Internal sizes run from 105 x 229mm up to 442 x 661mm, measured as internal opening x height. Match the internal size to your product so it slides in without forcing the seams.
How are they supplied, and can I order in bulk?
They come boxed in packs of 50, 100 or 200 depending on the size. Bulk discounts apply on orders of three or more packs.
