Tamper evident security tape is designed for sealing parcels, cartons and containers where proof of interference in transit or storage must be immediately visible. The 25 micron polyester film has a split acrylic adhesive: when the top layer is peeled back, it separates from the adhesive coat and leaves a permanent, non-removable OPENED VOID message on the surface beneath. The top layer cannot be reapplied, and the message cannot be concealed. Performs from -30°C to 80°C and is UV-stable. Available in food-industry-approved blue and high-visibility red, 50mm wide on 50m rolls, 76mm core.

How to use
The split-adhesive mechanism of security void tape is irreversible once triggered; the OPENED VOID message cannot be removed or concealed after peeling. Apply only to the final, sealed carton.
- Seal the carton first: Apply this tape only after the carton is fully packed and closed; once the OPENED VOID adhesive bonds to the surface it cannot be repositioned without triggering the tamper indicator.
- Use a dispenser: Load the 76mm core roll into a 50mm pistol grip dispenser; the acrylic adhesive grips immediately and the tape cannot be cleanly hand-torn.
- Seal across the closure seam: Apply with the tape bridging the carton flap join and overlapping by at least 50mm onto each face; the OPENED VOID message should be positioned so it spans the join and is clearly visible on the dominant carton face.
- Press firmly: Run a firm stroke along the full length; full-width contact is essential for the split-adhesive mechanism to trigger correctly on any attempt to peel the tape.
- Store correctly: Store at 15–25°C below 65% humidity; shelf life is 12 months from manufacture.
