Constructed in lightweight aluminium, this functional step can effortlessly be moved and adapted. Unfold the handrail frame and straighten by locking into place, the hinged joint has a supporting cover to ensure the handrail is fully extended and also provides protection. To form the step base, the legs are simply pulled apart creating the “A” design to bear the weight of the user.
To move steps, simply tilt the entire frame using the handrail and the rear wheels on the swing back frame will take the weight, allowing you to glide the steps into position. Each step is serrated with aluminium treads of 360mm x 205mm.
The angle of the step is sloped, ideal for those that may struggle with the higher angle of standard steps, providing a more comfortable range of movement to mount.
The folding step has a handy inbuilt tool tray (available on references 185108 and 185109) located at the top of the handrail, convenient storage for your tools and components.
These steps have a maximum load capacity of 260kg and is certified to BS EN14183.
