A wide range of sizes
RAJA cardboard postal tubes allow you to post, and store rolled items such as maps, charts, posters and other long cylindrical objects. The spiral-wound board wall, 1.5 to 2mm thick, gives all-round protection, and white plastic end caps are fitted as standard to close both ends. The caps sit snugly and can be taped for extra security, though they reduce the usable length by 15mm at each end, so allow 30mm when choosing a size. The range runs to large sizes, with diameters over 100mm available for wider contents. Spare end caps are available for every size. The cardboard mailing tubes are 100% recyclable and reusable.
Sold in packs of 20, 25 or 50, priced per tube.
Where do cardboard postal tubes work best?
Cylinder postal tubes suit posting and storing rolled documents and wider large-format items that need all-round protection in a brown cardboard tube.
- Maps and charts, where rolling large sheets avoids fold marks, creases and corner damage in transit.
- Posters and prints, where the spiral-wound wall protects presentation material end to end.
- Plans and drawings, where wider formats use the diameters over 100mm available in the range.
- Long cylindrical items, where these cylinder postal tubes cut wasted space compared with a rectangular pack.
Not for
- Items that must stay flat. Use cardboard envelopes where curling or rolling isn't acceptable.
- Royal Mail despatch of certain sizes. References ST3730, ST4230, ST3740, ST4240, ST3760 and ST4260 aren't suitable for sending via Royal Mail, so check before despatch.
- Items needing a rigid rectangular pack. Use a cardboard box where flat sides help stacking or handling.
