For a cost-effective option, the Industrial Medium-Duty All-Purpose Glue Gun (ref: TEC80612) is our ideal standard, entry-level model and most popular glue gun. With a nozzle that supports 12mm glue sticks, and a voltage of 110 (230V), it has a melt rate of: 1.7 kg/h; meaning the gun can melt and dispense 1.7 kg of adhesive glue per hour – making it strong enough for continuous packaging, assembly or industrial repair work.
Ideal for: high-volume carton and box sealing, product assembly lines, workshop or maintenance environments – or any task where steady, uninterrupted glue flow is needed.
The more premium model in the range is the Heavy-Duty All-Purpose Glue Gun (ref: TEC83015). Like the TEC80612 in look and function, it is suited to heavier application and use; is compatible with larger 15mm glue sticks and has a higher voltage of 120 (230V), with a melt rate of: 2.5 kg/h. Select this option if you have a high production output or require heavier sealing of goods.
Ideal for: fast, continuous sealing of large batches of boxes, or reinforcing seams on oversized cartons.
Which glue sticks can be used with the glue guns?
Industrial Medium Duty Gun designed with the 12mm nozzle is compatible with 12mm hot-melt glue stick refs: AFSS12 – Fast Set, MPS12 – Multi-purpose - and HSS12 – High Strength.
Heavy-Duty All-Purpose Glue Gun is designed with the 15mm nozzle, making it compatible with hot-melt glue stick refs: FSS15 – Fast Set, MPS15 – Multi-purpose and HSS15 – High Strength.
How long do these glue guns take to heat up?
Medium and heavy‑duty models typically heat up in 2–5 minutes, depending on wattage and adhesive type. Please allow up to 6 minutes for refs TEC80612 and TEC83015.
