RAJA 28 micron polypropylene tape is the general-purpose polypropylene packing tape for standard carton sealing in post rooms, warehouses and despatch operations. The BOPP film is 28 thick and the hot melt adhesive bonds immediately on contact with paper and board surfaces at temperatures from 15°C to 60°C. This packing tape, available in clear or brown, comes in three widths (25mm, 48mm and 75mm) on 66m rolls, with a 132m option also available in 48mm width. Weight capacity is under 20kg.

How to use
Hot melt adhesive bonds immediately on contact. Surface temperature and cleanliness determine how reliably carton seams hold under transit loads.
- Check surface temperature: Apply at 15°C or above. Hot melt adhesive loses tack in cold conditions; bonds applied below this threshold can fail at the flap edge during transit.
- Load a pistol grip dispenser: Fit the 76mm core roll into a pistol grip dispenser. Dispensers give consistent tape tension, clean cuts and faster throughput on high-volume packing lines.
- Seal the full carton seam: Apply with a 50mm overlap onto each carton face. Press firmly along the full length as partial contact at flap edges is a common cause of seal failure.
- Store correctly: Store at 15–25°C below 50% humidity. Shelf life is 6 months from manufacture; rotate stock on a first-in, first-out basis.
