Bag neck sealer tape with a 12mm width is designed to work with bag neck sealing machines and hand-held bag sealers to close polythene bags cleanly and consistently. The PVC backing is flexible and moisture resistant, and the natural rubber adhesive bonds on contact with paper and board surfaces at temperatures from 15°C to 65°C. Available in five colours (red, green, yellow, blue and white) on 66m rolls with a 76mm core, it also doubles as a narrow colour coding tape for small boxes and bags on despatch lines.

- Heavy bags over 30kg: for very heavy bags requiring a secure closure under significant load, use a heat sealer for a permanent weld or a cable tie for a mechanical closure. Tape neck sealing is not rated for sustained load stress above 30kg.
How to use
Surface temperature must be at or above 15°C for the natural rubber adhesive to bond reliably.
- Check temperature: Apply at 15°C or above. Below this, natural rubber adhesive loses tack.
- Fit the roll correctly: Load the 76mm core roll into the sealer. Ensure the roll seats firmly before starting.
- Apply with consistent pressure: The sealer or dispenser applies the tape in a single pass across the bag neck. Ensure full contact across the width to avoid the risk of seal failure.
- Check the colour: If using colour coding, verify the correct colour is loaded before starting a new product line or despatch run.
- Store correctly: Keep unused rolls at 15–25°C with humidity below 65%. Shelf life is 9 months from manufacture; rotate stock on a first-in, first-out basis.
