How easy are the sealers to use?
Using our sealer for strapping is a straightforward process. Follow these steps to ensure secure and efficient strapping of your packages:
1. Gather Your Materials: Make sure you have your sealer, APT2-6 tensioner (sold separately), polypropylene strapping in, and Semi-Open Metal Seals.
2. Prepare the Package: Place the items you wish to strap together securely on a flat surface. Ensure that they are stacked properly and that any loose items are arranged neatly.
3. Cut the Strapping: Measure and cut the required length of Polypropylene Strapping. Make sure it’s long enough to wrap around the package with some excess for sealing.
4. Wrap the Strapping: Take one end of the strapping and wrap it around the package. Overlap the two ends so that they can be securely joined.
5. Insert the Metal Seal: Slide the ends of the strapping through the Semi-Open Metal Seal. Position the seal at the point where the strapping overlaps.
6. Tension the Strapping: Using the APT2-6 tensioner, grip the strapping and pull to tighten it. Ensure the strapping is snug against the package without being overly tight, which could damage the contents.
7. Seal the Strapping: Once the strapping is taut, use the sealer to crimp the metal seal securely. Position the sealers over the metal seal and apply pressure to ensure a strong bond.
