There are a couple of common factors to take into consideration when you buy kraft paper and corrugated cardboard rolls. The first is the weight of the paper. Measured in grams per square metre – or gsm – a higher number means that it will be much more robust than a lower one. So you can adjust this according to the product. However, this isn’t the same as thickness, which is measured in microns. If you need something stronger, it’s better to look at the gsm. If you need the paper to be more flexible, for instance when you need to wrap it around products, then try choosing a paper with lower microns.
