Designed so they can’t cut fingers these Martor industrial Safety Scissors with a long cutting edge can easily cut through double wall cardboard, plastic strapping, yarn or cord or layers of foil or paper. Their ambidextrous design means they are suitable for both left and right handed users. The blades are made from non-rusting stainless steel and the handles have been coated with plastic reinforced with fibre glass; the soft grip on the inside of the handles means they are comfortable to use for long periods of time.

The long edge of these industrial safety scissors acts as a support and helps control the cutting action and fewer cuts are needed. The cutting edges are not angled but straight ground which prevent injury, the blades also have rounded tips for extra safety.
