Vinyl packaging tape is ideal for general carton sealing in environments where moisture, temperature variation, or the need to bond to non-board surfaces rules out standard polypropylene offerings. The PVC backing (32 & 35 micron) of this adhesive vinyl tape carries a natural rubber adhesive that grips paper, board, glass, wood, aluminium and plastic from 15°C to 65°C and unwinds silently. Available in brown, transparent and white across four widths (19mm, 25mm, 48mm and 75mm) on 66m and 100m rolls, for cartons under 30kg. PVC tape is not recyclable.

- Kerbside-recyclable packaging: PVC tape isn't recyclable; for recyclable carton sealing use self-adhesive paper tape instead.
How to use
PVC film is slightly more flexible than polypropylene, which helps it conform to uneven or slightly curved surfaces.
- Check the surface: Wipe away grease, dust and standing moisture. Natural rubber adhesive grips well on dry surfaces but loses hold in wet or contaminated conditions.
- Apply at 15°C or above: Rubber adhesive tack drops quickly below this threshold; in cool despatch areas check that carton surfaces are within range before starting a sealing run.
- Tear or cut to length: Vinyl packaging tape can be torn by hand, but for high volume environments a 76mm-core dispenser is recommended.
- Seal with a 50mm overlap: Apply with a 50mm overlap onto each carton face and press firmly along the full length.
- Store correctly: Store at 15–25°C below 65% humidity; shelf life is 12 months from manufacture.
