Euro stacking containers, boxes, crates and bins in solid-sided, ventilated, open-front pick and recycled polypropylene

Euro stacking containers, also known as euro stacking boxes, euro crates or euro bins, in solid-sided, ventilated, open-front pick and recycled configurations. Every range built on the European industrial standard 600x400mm external footprint with a 200kg stack rating and food-grade polypropylene across the hero specifications. Stock held for next day UK delivery. Use the navigation below to browse by container type, or read on for a breakdown of which configuration suits which operation.

Solid-sided euro stacking containers

The light grey euro stacking container range is the default specification for general warehouse storage, parts management, stockroom shelving and pick-line work where colour-coding is not part of the brief. Food-grade polypropylene, with heights from compact picking trays through to deep storage bins.

The blue euro stacking container range gives high-visibility colour segregation. These euro stacking boxes are specified into allergen control in food production, batch and customer separation in mixed-product warehouses, and any operation where one product line needs to be visually distinct from the rest of the floor.

The black euro stacking container range is specified into return-loop logistics, contamination control and RFID-tagged returnable transit. Black absorbs ambient warehouse light and gives high contrast against printed labels, barcodes and tracking tags. The range, sometimes called euro crates in dairy, beverage and bakery RTP, includes both food-grade and industrial polypropylene SKUs.

Ventilated euro stacking containers

The perforated euro stacking container range uses vented walls and a vented base for airflow, drainage and product visibility. The right specification for produce handling, washed components, bakery cooling lines, drying processes, and any application where trapped air or surface moisture damages the contents. Vented construction does not reduce the 200kg stack rating.

Open-front pick euro containers

The open-front pick container range has a cut-out front profile that gives line-side pick access. Designed for kitting cells, line-side feeds, shop-floor consumables and small-component stores where operators draw parts from the bin face without lifting a lid or removing the container from the rack. These euro pick bins are manufactured in food-grade polypropylene with an operating temperature range of -5 to +50 degrees Celsius.

Recycled euro stacking containers

The EcoTote recycled stacking container range is manufactured from recycled polypropylene on the same 600x400mm footprint as the primary ranges. UK Plastic Packaging Tax exempt, two year warranty. Specified into operations with circular-economy procurement requirements, ESG reporting commitments, or framework tenders mandating recycled-content packaging.

Euro container, box and crate sizes

Every RAJAPACK euro stacking container shares the 600x400mm external footprint, the European industrial standard sized to fit standard EUR-pallet decks at four containers per layer. Heights run from 120mm shallow trays at around 20 litres internal capacity, through 170mm and 220mm mid-range profiles at 30 to 45 litres, up to 320mm deep-stack bins holding over 60 litres on the same footprint. Each individual product page carries the exact internal dimensions and capacity in litres on the spec sheet.

For smaller footprints, see the half-euro (400x300mm) and quarter-euro (300x200mm)range.

For larger loads and palletisation, see the pallets range.

Food-grade polypropylene and operating temperature range

The light grey, blue, perforated and open-front pick ranges use food-grade polypropylene across every SKU, FDA and EU food contact compliant within the -5 to +50 degrees Celsius operating range. The black range includes both food-grade and industrial-grade SKUs, with the food contact certificate listed on each individual product page. For applications outside the operating range, including blast freezing and hot-fill, see the individual product page for the relevant specification.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a euro stacking container?
A euro stacking container is a stackable storage box manufactured to the European industrial standard 600x400mm external footprint. Used across warehouse storage, picking lines, food production, parts management and returnable transit packaging, euro containers interlock vertically when stacked and fit standard EUR-pallet decks at four containers per pallet layer.
What is the difference between a euro container, a euro box and a euro crate?
These are trade terms used interchangeably for the same product family. Euro container is the dominant procurement and engineering term. Euro box is more common in food production and warehouse operations. Euro crate is widely used in returnable transit logistics and dairy, beverage and bakery distribution. The product specification is the same across all three terms.
Are euro stacking containers food-safe?
The RAJAPACK light grey, blue, perforated and open-front pick ranges use food-grade polypropylene across all SKUs and are FDA and EU food contact compliant. The black range includes both food-grade and industrial-grade SKUs. Confirm the food contact certificate on the individual product page before specifying for direct food applications.
What is a perforated euro container used for?
Perforated euro containers have vented walls and a vented base that allow airflow, drainage and product visibility through the container. Specified into produce handling, washed components, bakery and confectionery cooling lines, drying and curing processes, and any operation where trapped air or surface moisture damages the contents. The vented construction does not reduce the 200kg stack rating.
Are recycled euro stacking containers available?
Yes. The RAJAPACK EcoTote recycled stacking container range is manufactured from recycled polypropylene on the same 600x400mm footprint as the primary ranges. UK Plastic Packaging Tax exempt, two year warranty.
Can I get euro containers with attached lids?
The RAJAPACK euro stacking container range uses separate hinged lids for euro stacking containers rather than integrated attached lids. Separate lids let you specify the container and lid independently, replace either component without scrapping the matched pair, and keep the open-top container available for applications where a lid is not needed.
